Are you a reliable and skilled Debt Collector looking for your next opportunity? Our client is seeking debt collectos for a contract position in the Northern Suburbs area, with the availability to start immediately. If you have a proven track record in debt collection and excellent communication skills then this might be the opportunity for you! 

Responsibilities:

• Manage assigned accounts to track and recover outstanding debts
• Plan and execute strategies to collect payments efficiently
• Locate and contact debtors to inquire about their payment status
• Negotiate payment plans and payoff deadlines
• Handle questions, complaints, and disputes professionally
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to payments
• Build trust with debtors to prevent future issues
• Regularly update account statuses and maintain accurate records
• Escalate cases to superiors when debtors are unwilling or unable to pay

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Debt Collector
• Ability to work effectively with targets and tight deadlines
• Knowledge of legal requirements related to debt collection
• Proficiency in MS Office and database management
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Confidence and professionalism when dealing with debtors
• Matric certificate essential
