SUMMARY:
A well-established company based in Sandton is looking for a Debtors Clerk to join their team

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Education: Matric / Degree or Diploma in Finance will be a definite advantage

Minimum Experience: 2 - 3 years

Computer Packages: SYSPRO is a must

Duties and Requirements includes but is not limited to the following:

Evaluating new credit requests and conducting client credit checks
Managing and collecting debts from company debtors
Setting up the terms of credit for new clients
Negotiating payment plans and settlements
Managing the collection of all payments and debts efficiently
Responding timeously to client inquiries
Processing of invoices and credit notes
Ensuring customer statements are sent timeously to customers
Managing the sales ledger
Liaising with customers and the sales team
Ability to deal with problematic clients
Ability to reconcile complex debtors accounts
Initiate legal action against debtors who evade or refuse repayment according to the terms and conditions
Manage bad and doubtful debts schedule
