Applicants with a suitable qualification or formal training coupled with experience in preparing meals ranging from curries, stews, salads, grills, pasta dishes and platters, etc are being sought.
KEY RESPONSIBIITY AREAS
· Experienced in Home Replacement Meals
Managing department inventory, in-stock position, pricing integrity, merchandising, and other operational processes of the Deli Department to company standards.
· Follow the Company sales and production planning standards and ensure that the deli department achieves the standards of performance outlined.
· Ensure all new department associates receive proper training and supervision.
· Kitchen safety techniques and health standards.
· Set daily and weekly cleaning schedules for the kitchen, hire, train and discipline employees and set work schedules.
· Keep tabs on food cost, waste and employee hours, doing their best to optimise profit.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
· Matric
· 5-7 Years Experience working as a Deli Management Position
Good customer service skills
Attention to detail to keep track of various elements such as food standards, costs, safety, etc.
Management Skills
Organizational Skills, keeping work schedules, shipments, cleaning schedules .
Problem-Solving Skills, dealing with employee conflict, irate customers and wrong stock orders
