Demand Planner

Job & Company description: 
My client is a renowned retail outlet in Southern Africa. They have been in the industry for more than four decades both locally and more recently, cross border. 
The deliverables of the role as a Planner is to plan take-off, purchase raw materials, prepare RFP responses, manage special projects and stock positioning. In addition to this it would include monitoring supplier and store strike rates and liaise with DC Operations on stock out lines. 
This role will report into the Group Executive Supply Chain.

Job experience and Skills Required:
-    Degree in Supply Chain or Finance
-    Microsoft Excel (Intermediate to Advanced)
-    3 – 5 years’ experience as a Planner
-    FMCG retail knowledge
-    Working knowledge F&R /Demand planning system
