JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client in Parktown is looking for a dynamic Desktop/Network Support Administrator to join their team!

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years IT support experience
Own transport

The applicant should have a working knowledge and should be able to troubleshoot the following :

Office 365 administration, including email and Sharepoint
MS SQL (Basic understanding and administration)
Windows Server 2003 - 2016 - including AD
Basic network infrastructure, CCNA would be advantageous
Basic desktop support and troubleshooting (A+ and N+ would be advantageous)
English or Afrikaans as first language

In addition to post-sales support, the support person is engaged with the customer and will be responsible for maintaining the systems in running order. The candidate will also be responsible for emergency support and maintenance on customer equipment and the overall functioning of the “outsourced” IT function. Regular reporting and a close working relationship with other technicians / managers is a requirement.

Roll up the sleeves: comfortable working on his/her own, or with a small and highly motivated staff implementing outsourced IT management solutions.

The candidate will be placed on site permanently with twice weekly travel to a branch site in Germiston, the candidate will need to have their own reliable transport.
