This is not a corporate environment and whilst we cannot afford fat corporate salaries, we are able to offer revenue sharing of projects we work on. We are looking for someone that has passion for coding and not just someone who is trying to chase the biggest pay cheques.
Key Responsibilities:
System administration of Linux and Windows environments.
Configuration, security, maintenance, backups, monitoring.
Assist with deployment of software and production environments in cloud.
Be very comfortable with setting up, deploying to and monitoring cloud infrastructure.
Manage databases (deploy, optimise, backup, configure, monitor).
Patch and upgrade management of servers, paid products, and developed products/services.
Manage server security.
Configuration management.
Functional monitoring of the ecosystem.
Personal Attributes:
Willingness to help team members when needed.
At least three years of experience in a DevOps role.
Linux Server administration experience and skills. This will be tested.
Be very comfortable with setting up, deploying to and monitoring cloud infrastructure
Practical experience with CI/CD and container technologies
Avid follower of IaC will be an advantage
Python and Bash scripting.
Database management will be an advantage
Practical understanding of distributed/high volume systems architecture and management
System monitoring tools
