Our client, a leading company in the automotive and logistics sector, is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join their team in Cape Town. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and professional environment where your skills will be highly valued. Permanent Position

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair diesel engines for trucks, buses, and heavy-duty vehicles.
Perform routine maintenance and preventative checks to ensure vehicle reliability.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.
Adhere to workshop health and safety standards.

Candidate Requirements:

Qualifications: Certified Diesel Mechanic or equivalent technical qualification.
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience with diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles.
Solid understanding of hydraulics, electrical components, and diesel engine systems
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
Advantageous: Code 14 driver’s license.
Attention to detail, strong problem- solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
