SUMMARY:
Our client is a national consulting firm, specialising in the public transport sector.

They are in the process of setting up a contract base in Rustenberg, working with The Department of Transport. This contract requires a qualified Technical Inspector to work independently, traveling between bus depots in the North West, conducting inspections on busses, and reporting / advising on findings.

POSITION INFO:

There are 4 depots between Rustenberg, Brits and Mafikeng. This person will travel between them, conducting inspections and reporting on busses used for public transport - MAN, Merc, Volvo and Scania. All findings are communicated and reports drafted in MS Word or Excel.

Essential requirements:

Red Seal qualified Diesel Technician.
At least 5 years working experience as a Diesel Technician - experience on Busses / Trucks essential. A more senior position (Foreman) will be advantageous.
Outstanding fault finding ability.
Computer literacy (MS Excel, Word & email).
Ability to put technical reports together.
Drivers license.
Residing in Rustenberg.
Ability to work independently and work with clients from many different areas.

Our client is offering a market related basic salary as well as a work vehicle & fuel.
