Minimum requirements:
- Trade Test - Diesel Mechanic (trucks and trailers)
- Valid driver's license and own vehicle, Code 10 and Code 14 will be advantageous
- Minimum of 3 years post apprenticeship experience
- Computer Diagnostic Tool experience
- Experience in the Volvo, Man, Nissan and Mercedes will be advantageous
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English

Responsibilities:
- Work independently in the field
- Plan and perform repairs using correct tools and procedures
- Order and return parts for assigned jobs in a timely manner
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance services
- Demonstrate proper use of service information systems
- Ability to diagnose correct parts that is required for repairs
- Utilize power tools - drills, impact wrench, air ratchet, grinders, etc
- Perform relevant administrative duties and ad hoc administration as required
- Traveling to sites will be required
- Ability to perform the following tasks on basic components in work area, including engine, hydraulic, transmission and electrical components
- Completing job cards
Remuneration:
Negotiable depending on the experience + Provident Fund Contribution + Company cellphone + Company car (when on duty) + 13th Cheque in birthday month (Pro Rata)
Work hours:
Monday - Friday (except when on stand-by): 07:00 - 17:00
Overtime hours will be compensated at the appropriate rate.
Please note: Every last Saturday of every month the entire workshop will work
