Digital Copy Writer

Requirements:

• Language, Journalism or Communications Degree.
• 2 years experience in a creative space.
• The consistent ability to produce and communicate fresh ideas and visual concepts.
• High levels of motivation and perseverance with a strong belief in your ideas, plus the skills and confidence to express them.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work and multi-task.
• The ability to work as part of a team.
• The ability to take rejection and criticism and to be able to adapt ideas to clients' and colleagues' needs.
• The capacity to deal with stress and work well under pressure in order to meet tight deadlines.
• Enthusiasm about advertising with a desire to keep up to date with new developments in the media.
• An integrated and creative approach to the media and how the media can be used in advertising.
• An understanding of the advertising process.
• Acute observation and an eye for detail.

Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Working with other creatives, copywriters use their excellent writing skills to create and deliver imaginative advertising campaigns for their clients.
• Work on campaigns from the outset, managing details about the product, target audience and required advertising message.
• Generate creative ideas and concepts as well as copy to fulfil the client's brief.
• Expert-level knowledge of each allocated brand, including positioning and audiences.
• Thorough knowledge of target audience and business that the advert is aimed at.
• Meet with the creative lead and account managers before presenting ideas to clients.
• Build creative presentation to pitch ideas to clients alongside your team.
• Brief other members of the creative team on monthly content via content creation tool.
• Mastering tools like Falcon, Toggl, and Asana to complete tasks.
• Month to month copywriting for a variety of always-on clients.
• Create briefs for creatives by coming up with concepts for printed or digital design.
• Create storylines and story boards for video and video content.
• Get all content out on time and up to client expectations.
• Creation of recipes.
• Extra: Account Liaison for selected clients.
