Disciplinary Officer

SUMMARY:
Position available for a Disciplinary Officer to assist HR and Legal with all admin relating to disciplinaries at Company.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12
• Suitable HR / Labour Diploma/Degree
• More than 2 years’ experience in a similar role

 
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sift all disciplinary cases at sources and allocate cases as per the company disciplinary code.
• Manage and monitor work output of company representatives as per case priorities.
• Deal with and issue final written warnings
• Ratify suspensions with pay in liaison with HR Manager and Legal Advisor.
• Solicit all required documentation in respect of cases.
• Set dates with Presiding Officers and furnish same with all required documentation.
• Officially summon and ensure attendance of all witnesses.
• Ensure all cases are finalized within the determined time frames.
• Notify and caution line management of delays.
• Maintain a record of cases progress and outcomes.
• Report unnecessary delays to appropriate line management
