Job Title: Dispatch Clerk

Summary:
- Managing and coordinating shipping and receiving procedures, ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed accurately and promptly.
- Organizing and scheduling shipments and deliveries, using dispatching software or other logistical methods.
- Communicating with drivers, customers, and vendors to resolve delivery issues or discrepancies.
- Tracking and monitoring shipment progress, and updating systems and parties involved with any changes or delays.
- Inspecting incoming and outgoing shipments to verify the quantity and quality of goods, ensuring alignment with order specifications.
- Working closely with warehouse staff to manage inventory and facilitate the loading and unloading of goods.
- Maintaining records of all dispatches, invoices, and shipments to ensure effective tracking and documentation.
- Providing excellent customer service by handling inquiries, complaints, and providing information regarding delivery times and shipping procedures.
- Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements in all dispatch operations.
Working hours: Full time permanent position
Area: Cape Town, office based in Woodstock.
Salary: R7 000-R8 000 (depending on experience)
