SUMMARY:
Pinetown – Our client, a prominent manufacturer and supplier of various industrial products, is dedicated to delivering efficient and reliable services. They are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Dispatch Clerk to join their operations department.
POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately calculate and manage costings related to dispatch operations.
- Coordinate and oversee the loading of trucks to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
- Review and analyze orders to ensure accuracy and completeness before dispatch
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Oversee factory operations and supervise workers to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to safety standards.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with team members, management, and customers.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Key Requirements:- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to think critically and solve problems effectively.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the logistics industry is preferred.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for dispatch operations.
Qualifications:- Matric
- Proven experience in dispatch operations or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Working hours:
Monday - Thursday (7.30 am - 4.30 pm)
Friday (7.30 am - 2 pm)
Remuneration: R10 000 - R12 000 monthly
