DUTIES:
- Ensure stock is handled with due care and that no damage occurs during handling
- Pick and pack stock according to delivery/loading sheet /sales order (correct quality, size, correct quantity etc.)
- Pick and pack stock accurately and within allocated time frames
- Report delays to direct Supervisor
- Provide vehicle loading/offloading support as and when required (labelling of stock as and when required)
-Report damaged, short / low stock to the supervisor
- Ensuring that dispatch and loading bays are neat, organized and clean at all times
- Move, load and unload stock by hand or forklift
- Inspect and accept/reject stock based on quality standards
- Liaise with supervisor and relevant departments with regards to shortages of stock for loads
- Monitor and control stock to minimize/eliminate theft/incorrect loading
- Monitor stock exiting dispatch in accordance with loading sheet/sales order (valid document controls must
- be in place at all times)
- Ensure that no unauthorized stock exits dispatch (eliminate theft)
- Oversee and/or lead employees loading vehicles
- Ensure loading sheets are signed by all designated stakeholders (driver, checker, supervisor)
- Ensure compliance with all standards, procedures, controls, and policies as directed by the business
- Assist Supervisor in planning and dispatching of stock
- Ensure correctness in the counting and recording of stock
- Ensure that all documentation is neatly completed, and that stock is reconciled and confirmed with the
- invoice and signed off by relevant
- Ensure deliveries are dispatched timeously
- All paperwork pertaining to stock movement must be kept up to date
- Control documentation: invoices, production plans, cage sheets, loading sheets, trip sheets, etc.
- Ensure that PODs are returned by drivers for all invoices/delivery notes issued
- Assist Supervisor with collection notes and documentation relating to collection procedures
- Participate in receiving of materials
- Monitor and control stock to minimize/eliminate theft/incorrect loading
- Assist with weekly cycle counts and monthly stock take
- Conduct and/or assist with reports to carry out successful stock take in consideration of inventory evaluation,
physical count, cardex report, passed credits, returned products, scrap, and adjust to stock levels
- Assist Supervisor in the evaluation of stock variances
- Capture data and conduct filing as and when required
