POSITION INFO:
My client, a leading and well known Retailer seeks to employ an experienced HR Manager to service their operations in Namibia.
Please note that this position is based in Windhoek and will require travelling throughout Namibia.
Key Requirements:
Human Resources experience of at least 5 years as a generalis· Sound experience in Industrial Relations and Recruitment & Selection
Retail experience will be an advantage
Qualification of at least a Certificate in the HR field
Matric ESSENTIAL
Good planning, interpersonal and analytical skills
A tough-minded individual who is able to work in a high-pressure environment
Effective writing skills in English
Must have represented an employer in arbitrations at the Offices of the Labour Commissioner ESSENTIAL
Must have a Driver’s License and be willing to travel
Must have a valid passport
Must be Criminal Clear
Must reside in Windhoek
Key Responsibilities:
Represent the Company at the Offices of the Labour Commissioner
Responsible for recruitment of management and non-management staff
Compilation of HR Management Information
Train and support branch staff on relevant systems to ensure timeous processing of all staff appointments
Consult with Management regarding HR and IR issues for all branches
Shortlisted candidates will be subjected to psychometric assessments
Please note:
This position will require extensive traveling and sleeping out from time to time.
