Draughting Assistant with AutoCAD

Small, growing Transport company situated in Benoni seeking a Junior Draughtsman / Operations Assistant to assist with various duties within the organisation.

Requirements:

• Able & willing to travel throughtout South Africa & into Africa.
• Own transport however the company will provide a vehicle for business / work travel.
• Excellent communication skills
• Confident
• AutoCAD background (no formal qualification is required but able to use AutoCAD)
• Good computer skills - especially with Word as report writing will be an essential component
• Technically minded / problem solving skills
• Must be based in the East Rand, near Benoni area
• Draughtsman / Engineering / Transport background would be an advantage

Responsibilities:

• Traveling, route surveys
• Flying of a drone to carry out measurements
• Using AutoCAD to draw up measured sites
• Weighing of abnormal goods
• Liaison with provincial authorities
• Report compilation & production
• Project Management of cargo
• Other duties related to operations
