Draughtman/Mechanical Designer - Killarney Gardens - R12,000-R15,000 per month

Willing to travel and work overtime on short notice
Proficient in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD

A good understanding of mechanics, structures and pneumatics
Key Responsibilities:
Review drawings for accuracy, material selection, manufacturability, machining techniques, finishes, etc.
Work cooperatively with clients, colleagues, contractors, management, and suppliers.
Communicate with vendors for technical information and specifications
Select purchased components and ‘off the shelf” solutions as appropriate to meet requirements
Participate in site visits to vendor/supplier and client facilities as required
Produce full design and manufacturing drawings (Bakery equipment, packaging machines, transport, conveying systems & vibrating conveyors)
Participate in design review processes
Hands on and involved with the manufacturing and installation process
