A shopfitting company based in New Germany, KwaZulu Natal is seeking two skilled Draughtsman to join their growing team. 

The ideal candidates will be responsible for creating production drawings and working closely with the production team to ensure projects are executed efficiently.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Matric (National Senior Certificate) is required
• Draughting Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Advantageous)
• Proficiency in SolidWorks is a must.
• Strong understanding of production knowledge, including dimensions and constraints related to sheet metal bending.
• Ability to take initiative and work proactively in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a positive attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work overtime at short notice when required.

• Create and modify production drawings using SolidWorks.
• Ensure all drawings comply with production constraints, including dimensions and sheet metal bending requirements.
• Collaborate with the production team to hand over finalized drawings.
• Action and update debriefed jobs as required.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all designs.
• Work efficiently under tight deadlines while ensuring quality and accuracy.
