Draughtsperson

SUMMARY:
One of South Africa's leading engineering consultancy firms based in Ballito (KZN) is looking for Junior to Mid Draughtsperson to join their firm. To be based in KZN (Areas around Ballito).
Candidates with experience in Civils (pipelines, roads and earthworks) will be preferred. Some background in structural detailing will be advantageous.

Qualifications: Recognized Draughting certificate
Experienced Required: 3-5 years relevant experience


Responsibilities
 
1. Delivery of CAD drawings specific to project needs in accordance with the company’s or client’s policies, systems and procedures.
 
2.  The successful execution of all project(s).
 
3. Maintain Drawings
 
* Responsible for the project’s CAD design engineering
 
* Working on a wide range of CAD design-engineering solutions
 
* Responsible for the maintenance of all technical and engineering drawings
 
4. Design
 
* Deliver detailed CAD design proposal within the design project demands.
 
5. Teamwork and Coordination
 
* Support other team members to deliver drawings on time
 
* Possible involvement in project decisions
 
* Supervise junior draughtspeople 
 
6. Comply with the document control procedures.
 
7. Project Experience
 
* Candidates with experience in Civils (pipelines, roads and earthworks) will be preferred.
 
* Some background n structural detailing will be advantageous.
