We're currently partnering with a respected engineering firm that supplies innovative process solutions to the mining industry, and they're looking for a talented individual to join their dynamic design team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D models of mining process equipment using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks)
• Ensure designs adhere to relevant industry standards and client specifications
• Collaborate with engineering and fabrication teams to resolve design issues
• Revise existing drawings based on design changes or feedback
• Assist in maintaining a comprehensive design library and documentation system

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Draughtsperson in a mining or heavy industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of mining process equipment and related mechanical systems
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar)
• Ability to interpret and produce technical drawings and schematics
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to design work
• Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering Drafting or similar
