SUMMARY:
2x Vacancies exist for Duty Managers in the Guarding Division based in the Midrand

POSITION INFO:
The suitable candidateâs main responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following:Â

Ensure all staff are wearing the correct uniform at all times;Â Â

Report all suspicious people and activities;Â Â

Assist with the removal of all unwanted guests as instructed by the client;Â Â

Ensure that a proper hand over is done from shift to shift;Â Â

Attend to incidents when requested by control room and Security Management;Â Â

Ensure that equipment for staff members is in working condition and all faulty equipment reported;Â Â

Ensure all staff members on shift are familiar with current and upcoming events and activities;Â Â

Monitor radio at all times and ensure all calls are attended to in a timely manner;Â Â

Ensure that all staff members on duty are in possession of required equipment to perform their duties;Â

Ensure the Supervisor on duty conducts system check on all camera and all faults are reported to management;Â Â

Ensure all required footage regarding incidents and accidents are saves accordingly and that the footage is reserved on a weekly basis from control room;Â Â Â

Ensure that ALL gates are closed at set times, in conjunction with the control room;Â Â

Initiating disciplinary enquires\ hearings;Â Â

Ensure Key Issue audits are conducted on regular basis and all errors rectified;Â Â

Compile risk assessment report and submit as when and required by the client;Â Â

Ensure all staff has received the relevant training with regards to compliance and adherence to the SOP;Â

Attend meetings where required for operational purposes;Â Â

Â Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills:Â Â

PSIRA certification â Grade A;Â Â

Grade 12 or equivalent qualification;Â Â Â

5 Yearsâ experience as a Duty Manager or similar position;Â

Relevant experience in the Estate Protection industry;Â Â

Excellent written & verbal communication skills;Â Â Â

Experience in compiling and managing rosters;Â

Computer literate and knowledge of MS office;Â Â Â

The ability to communicate and present at all levels;Â

Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record;Â Â Â

Ability to work under pressure;Â

Driverâs License and own reliable transport;Â
