E-Commerce Warehouse & Fulfilment Manager
Our client is a world-renowned farm and group in the Cape Winelands area. They are looking for a dynamic person to join their e-commerce team and to help them grow and improve their operations.
You need to be solution oriented with experience in process improvement, operations or logistics, ideally within an e-commerce environment. This role suits a highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, exciting environment and who can easily adapt to changing market and organizational requirements. You need to be passionate about your work to the point where it inspires others.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Execute and manage routine logistics & daily fulfilment operations
- Oversee the inbound, storage, picking & packing and outbound processes
- Inventory oversight
- Manage staff and team performance
- Analyze supply chain data and performance ensuring efficiency
- Planning and scheduling of relevant operational activities
- Drive continuous improvement projects with management
- Monitor product quality and cold chain throughout supply chain
- Implement effective delivery service measures to ensure we continually delight our customers
Technical Skills and Abilities
- Relevant Tertiary qualification (eg. Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Engineering)
- At least 5 years of total work experience
- Organisational and people management experience within a fast-moving operational environment.
- Experience within a complex warehousing or FMCG environment.
- Demonstrate target-oriented and performance-driven attitude
- Attention to detail
- Fluent in Afrikaans & English, with exceptional writing and communication skills
- A creative approach to day-to-day challenges and a strong sense of ambition to solving issues and achieving targets
Area: Klapmuts, Paarl
Salary: R35k – R45k p.m
