SUMMARY:
Our client specializes in project support for the (petro) chemical and maritime industries. They provide personnel in the areas of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operations, Maintenance, and Safety. They are seeking a ECR QA/QC Manager to join their team in the Netherlands.

Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:
- Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in quality assurance/quality control, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing environment. - Knowledge of ECR Systems:
Familiarity with Engineering Change Request processes and systems, and the ability to manage change control and documentation. - Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
Strong ability to assess and resolve quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions effectively. - Location Requirement: Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
- Fluency in Afrikaans (both written and spoken).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and present complex quality data clearly. - Education and Certifications:
A bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field. Certifications in QA/QC (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001) are a plus.
Duties and responsibilities:
This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong experience in managing quality systems, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Quality Assurance and Control Oversight:
Lead and manage the QA/QC processes within the ECR system to ensure that all engineering changes meet internal standards and regulatory requirements. - Process Improvement:
Identify areas for improvement in existing quality control processes and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. - Documentation and Compliance:
Ensure that all ECR documentation is complete, accurate, and properly stored, adhering to both internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with engineering, procurement, and production teams to monitor and ensure that ECR-related changes are executed effectively and meet quality standards. - Training and Mentorship:
Provide guidance and training to internal teams on QA/QC processes, best practices, and compliance requirements related to ECR.
