ENGINEERING MANAGER (Montague Gardens)

Responsibilities:

• Design and Development of new products
• Life Cycle Management
• Engineering Change Management
• Line Managers have been consulted on the change, and their approval obtained.
• Master Sample Store
• Quality management system (QMS)
• Process Engineering
• Department Management

Qualifications:

• National Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or Business Management that includes Quality Management modules.
• At least 2 years relevant experience as a manager in an organization.
• At least 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing concern or related environment.
• Strong ability to organize effectively, delegate responsibility, problem solve and communicate clearly.

• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• High attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Taking initiative, efficiency orientation and adherence to standards
• Team building and leadership skills
• Highly structured with the ability to follow tasks through to completion
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-starter who works un-supervised and manages own time an activities
