EOT Crane Operators x8 (POS 2   )

Please Note: We have 8 positions available for this role

Job Overview:

• C32 Overhead Crane License
• Removal hot billets from cooling bed with the help of Rectangular Electro Magnet
• Loading billets into the container complying with safe working practices
• Handling scrap buckets and feeding continuously scrap to the furnace floor and vibro feeder
• Removing dust bines from furnace floor
• Removing slag bins from pit side and load onto trucks
• Informing of breakdown immediately to maintenance department
• Removing mill scale from the scale pit in the CCM
• Arranging the short length billets in allotted spaces

 Requirements:

• C32 Crane License
• From Steel industry preferable
• At least 4-6 years’ experience and knowledge of how to operate 20-ton electrical overhead operating cranes
• Minimum of matric qualification
• Extensive experience in magnet crane operation with tornado hoods
