Thermoplastic Extrusions and Mouldings company seeks an Extrusion Operator.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Communicate verbally or in writing in fluent English
• Checking materials against specification and decanting into the material feed system
• Packing extrusions at the required rate ensures the satisfactory presentation of the product
• Checking product specifications against work instructions
• Changing over, starting the extrusion process
• Promptly notifying Shift Setters if the product is out of specification
• Recording product quality as per work instructions
• Maintaining online production records, following all work instructions and procedures
• Maintaining housekeeping, ensuring that area is clean, tidy and hazard-free
• Ensuring packaging is acquired, to specification and sufficient for needs
• Correctly identifying products using the label system
• Correctly using SFDC (demand system) for capturing all production data
• Work to all Company and legislative health and safety guidance and policies
• Carry out any reasonably requested duty as required by management
