JOB DESCRIPTION:

To provide administrative support in delivering the education programme making sure that processes and solutions are working as intended; and that members and the broader stakeholder community receive a professional experience in doing so.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and secure dates across a broad range of stakeholders to deliver the education programme also considering both internal and external limitations.
Responsible for student communication of key dates and details as it relates to the delivery of the education programme.
Responsible for the efficient registration of students to the support initiatives such as Tuition Courses, Counselling and other academy events.
Arrange the necessary logistics for the execution of the education support initiatives.
Provide administrative support to education honoraria in delivering the education programme to the student community.
Ensure that the honoraria and external suppliers are paid accurately and timeously for the services they render and that this is in line with the approved budget.
Ensure that all education records are updated to correctly reflect the academic progress of the students.
Provide input to system specifications to automate and improve processes and perform user testing to ensure that changes and new systems functionality is implemented as planned.
Manage enquiries as it relates to the education programme with a good understanding of the programme to field the first line of support queries.

Qualifications

Post matric qualification in administration or a similar field of study
Minimum of three years experience within an institutional education environment
Sound understanding of institutional education policies, practices and processes
Demonstrable experience of improving processes also leveraging technology
Experience in providing administrative services at a high level
Experience in project managing will be advantageous
Proficient in Microsoft Office [Word and Excel]
