POSITION INFO:

Electrical Specialist (POS24271)

Aeroton – Johannesburg South

R 38 000 to R 40 000 per month

Please Note this is only 6-month fixed term contract based in Aeroton, Johannesburg South

Job Purpose:

To carry out maintenance and repair tasks on plant and equipment

Requirements:

N4 (minimum requirement)
Trade tested either as an Electrician or Millwright
5 years maintenance experience in the Pharmaceutical, Food and Beverage environment
Working Knowledge of AC and DC drives, Be able to program and set up.
PLC Knowledge
Experience In HVAC and MV systems advantageous
Available Immediately as this is only a fixed term contract for 6-months

Duties:

Carry out preventative maintenance tasks as per schedules
Carry out repairs on electro-pneumatic systems
Fault finding and repairs to electrical systems.
Wiring and panel building
Maintenance of building and facilities' electrical systems
Work in a safe manner
Be Prepared to work shifts, standby and attend to call-outs
Attend to breakdowns
Ensure all electrical installations comply with the relevant electrical regulations
