SUMMARY:
VACANCY FOR A ELECTRICIAN (PLC SPECIALIST)
We have a position available in the KZN Region for an ELECTRICIAN (PLC SPECIALIST) for a FMCG Plastic Packaging Company in Pinetown.
POSITION INFO:
Required:
- N4 Engineering (or higher) and Electrician trade test with PLC
- Or National Diploma / Degree Electrical Engineering.
- 3 to 6 years relevant experience in PLC fault finding including the ability to read/understand ladder diagrams (pertaining to Alan Bradley and Siemans)
- Electrical experience as well as experience with servo drives, AC drives, instrumentation
- Ability to write software advantageous
- Ability to improve downstream line controls and program basic programmable relays
- Ability to set up VSDs
