SUMMARY:
Our client, an electronic manufacturer in Pretoria is recruiting a Electronic Assistant.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements:

BEng/ National Diploma in Electronic Engineering.
1-3 years' relevant experience.
Electronic component knowledge.
Experience negotiating with suppliers.

Duties and responsibilities:

Generate Bill of Materials to ensure accuracy on supplier quotes.
Benchmarking best cost on BOM connector. Find suitable electronic alternatives.
Continuous feedback to the Industrialisation Manager regarding projects and components as well as any problems.
Report feedback to the manager in regard to changes in the pricing of components.
Monitor RFQ turnaround time.

Attributes:

Fluent in English.
Excellent communication skills.
Time management skills.
Structured.
Problem-solving ability.
