Our client is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Employee Benefits Consultant to manage a portfolio of retirement fund clients.

Our client is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Employee Benefits Consultant to manage a portfolio of retirement fund clients. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels in client relationships, and has a deep understanding of employee benefits administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring exceptional client service and retention.
• Handle day-to-day queries from retirement fund members, employers, service providers, and brokers.
• Assist employers with fund implementations and Section 14 processes.
• Monitor submission and approval of Special Rules and rule amendments.
• Implement investment decisions in line with client objectives.
• Organize and attend Board of Trustees and Sub-Committee meetings, including agenda preparation and minute-taking.
• Coordinate responses from service providers on action items from meetings.
• Conduct presentations and workshops for trustees, employers, and employees.
• Review and optimize risk benefit structures and costs for clients.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and administrative requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, service providers, and internal teams.

Ideal Candidate:

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Economics, or Pension Funds.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in the Employee Benefits industry.
• Strong knowledge of retirement fund administration and employee benefits.
• Excellent client relationship management skills.
• Strong computer literacy (MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
