Engineer: Procurement, Quality and Expediting

Purpose of Role:

• Taking lead with technical procurement in accordance with client specific standards.
• Taking the lead in terms of quality on all disciplines
• Expediting of procured equipment

 Job Experience:

• BEng / BSc in Electrical / Mechatronics / Metallurgical / Mechanical / Industrial

Skills Required:

• Technical project procurement for equipment and instrumentation required
• Conducting quality control
• Expediting of procured equipment, managing OEM project schedules and ensure timeous delivery of goods
• Manage OEM contracts – including negotiations and management of order placed
• Generating of contracts with OEM
• Ensure engineering design integration is done in terms of procured equipment with design office
• Manage income & expenditure of the project
• Manage installation and commissioning of all designs and systems
• Setting up of meetings with relevant stakeholders and compiling reports
