Position Overview:

Your Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and deliver English instruction using effective teaching techniques and strategies.
- English Gr 7, 8 and 9 following the British Curriculum.
- Prepare engaging lesson plans and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.
- Provide constructive feedback on students' oral and written work.
- Actively listen to and address student concerns, promoting a positive learning environment.
- Build students’ confidence and facilitate their academic growth.
- Participate in department meetings, professional development workshops, and curriculum planning.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to enhance student learning experiences.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be a South African citizen (RSA Passport required).
- Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed.) with a specialization in English.
- Experience teaching the British Curriculum is an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in the relevant subject area.
- Age range: 23 to 58 years old.
- Positions are preferrable for single teachers (accommodation provided for singles).
- Strong communication skills and effective classroom management abilities.
- Adaptability and cultural sensitivity, with a willingness to embrace Qatar’s customs and norms.
Time Frame:
- CV Submission till 31 January 2025
- Shortlisting till end February 2025
- Interviews from March 2025
- Visa applications April - June 2025
- Contract start August 2025
