Enrolled Nurse -ICU

SUMMARY:
A vacancy exists of an Enrolled Nurse (Experienced) for ICU. The successful candidates will form part of the multidisciplinary team ensuring that all our patients receive comprehensive quality nursing care and will be reporting to the Unit Manager-ICU

POSITION INFO:
Key  Responsibilities     

• Maintain professional conduct and standards at all times in accordance with the SANC Promote and maintain good working and inter-personal relationships with management / patients / staff / visitors / doctors and colleagues
• Co-ordinate nursing service activities with other departments
• Co-ordinate all working activities to accommodate normal hospital routine     
• Perform other departmentally related duties        
• Ensure that all documentation is maintained timeously and accurately, reflecting patient care
• Ensure all stock is charged appropriately. Practice patient care according to his/her Scope of Practice and assume total responsibility for these activities. 

• Registration with the South African Nursing Council as an Enrolled Nurse.          
• Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification.
• Compliance with the SANC code for an Enrolled Nurse and all applicable health care legislation.
• 2-3 year work experience as an Enrolled Nurse within a private hospital in ICU
