SUMMARY:
Leading industrial supplier specializing in rental of industrial equipment currently searching for Rentals Manager to manage the rental team and ensure all leasing activities are in accordance with policies and guidelines of the company.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Achieve and reach rental targets
  • Manage the rental team
  • Monitor rental agreements
  • Ensure that all assets are recorded and accounted for in the asset register
  • Regularly verify the existence and condition of assets by performing asset counts during the year
  • Ensure that supporting documentation exist for all entries in the asset register
  • Ensure that rental agreements are properly maintained and amended where necessary
  • Track asset movements
  • Ensure that the necessary quality checks ae done when assets are returned
  • Ensure that no goods are delivered and/or services rendered without the necessary paperwork
  • Ensure that necessary SLA’s are in place and updated
  • Liaise with Workshop Managers for the maintenance and repair of rental assets
  • Design and implement a strategic rental plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence – craft rental plans and justify those plans to top management
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Manage the entire rental cycle from finding a client to securing a deal
  • Explore new rental opportunities through networking and turn them into long term partnerships
  • Create detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals and quotas
  • Provide professional after-rental support to enhance the customers’ dedication
  • Respond to complaints and resolve issues aiming to customer contentment and the preservation of the company’s reputation
  • Negotiate agreements and keep records
  • Daily reporting and management of the Repsly system

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Matric/ Grade 12.
  • Tertiary qualification will be advantageous.
  • Minimum 5years experience in similar role.
  • Industry and product knowledge (rentals)
  • Complete knowledge of industry and needs analysis.
Excellent technical knowledge of the following:
➢ Welding Processes and Consumables
➢ Gas and Plasma Cutting Processes
➢ Plasma Automation Processes
➢ Generators
➢ Power tools
