Event Coordinator and Admin Assistant required for prestigious Winelands estate.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

Planning events from start to finish according to set requirements, target audience and objectives
Pre-event preparation and trouble shooting
Pro-active execution thereby enhancing the success of the event
Budget preparation
Effective intercompany co-ordination to ensure smooth event execution
Vendor and supplier sourcing and negotiation
Appointing and managing temporary events staff
Analyzing event success, providing detailed reports and feedback
Administrative assistant to the Estate Hospitality Manager
Managing the reservations portal
Providing excellent customer service and promoting the company services and products

Requirements:

Proven track record as an Events Coordinator
Qualification in Hospitality Management or Project Management
Computer literacy - MS Office
Excellent wine and classic cuisine knowledge
Customer service driven
Project management skills
Experience in upmarket/ fine dining Hospitality service
