Events Co-Ordinator

SUMMARY:
Opportunity for a Junior / Intern Events & Wedding Co-ordinator in the Winelands area of Cape Town.

POSITION INFO:

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Events Intern to join a busy team. As an Events Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in planning, organizing and executing a variety of events. You will work closely with the events manager and support all aspects of event coordination, from logistics to social media promotion.

Position is based in the Winelands of Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and coordination of events, both in the lead-up and on the day.
• Provide on-the-day support during events, ensuring everything runs smoothly
• Help with event set-up and post-event wrap-up
• Assist with content creation for social media platforms
• Maintain clear communication with event vendors, the entire team and attendees
• Assist with general administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Availability to work weekends is essential
• Own transport
• Strong interest in event management
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks at once
• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn

Qualifications:

• Experience or coursework in event management, marketing or a related field
