Signa Opportunity
is recruiting unemployed youth for quality workplace experience through the Youth Employment Service (YES) initiative.
About the YES Initiative
The initiative was launched by the President in 2018 and is a partnership with the government and labour department to collectively devise a national plan to build economic pathways for South Africa’s youth by creating workplace opportunities for South African youth over a period of 12 months.

Position: Executive Assistant

Stipend: R7300,00 pm

Location: MORNINGSIDE (Johannesburg)

POSITION INFO:
About the Role :
An EA serves as the right-hand person to executives, ensuring smooth business operations, managing
schedules, and handling confidential matters. They act as a liaison between executives and internal/external
stakeholders, including suppliers, partners, and key clients.

Responsibilities:

Administrative & Executive Support
- Managing executive calendars, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Preparing reports, presentations, and meeting agendas.
- Handling correspondence (emails, calls, memos).
- Drafting and proofreading documents.
Operational Support
- Ensuring compliance with food safety and hospitality regulations.
- Managing vendor contracts, orders, and supplier relationships.
Event Planning & Coordination
- Organizing corporate meetings, events, and staff training sessions.
- Handling logistics for special events and promotions.
Customer Relations & Marketing Support
- Managing social media accounts and promotional campaigns.
- Handling guest feedback, complaints, and service recovery.
- Coordinating PR and media inquiries.

Key Skills:

South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
Must not have participated on the programme before.
Strong Organizational & Multitasking Skills – Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced
environment.
Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills – clients, and staff professionally.
Problem-Solving & Adaptability – Quick thinking in dynamic hospitality settings.
