Executive Housekeeper

SUMMARY:
Hotel and Resort in the White River area is seeking the services of an Executive Housekeeper.
 
Responsible for ensuring the entire hotel, all Guest’s Rooms and Public Areas are cleaned in a consistent and professional manner, creating results that contribute to the mission and overall success of the property.

POSITION INFO:
Duties:
 
The overall running of the housekeeping department cost effectively and to the required standard
Staff management & HR / IR duties
Room checks ensuring cleanliness, readiness and maintenance issues meet Minimum Standard Operating Procedures
Staff training
Forecast anticipated volumes of business and schedule staff accordingly.
Stock taking and working within budgeted amounts
Stock control, operating equipment, maintenance, and cleaning of cleaning equipment.
 
Requirements:
 
Hospitality certificate or management diploma (advantageous)
At least 2 years in a 4* Hotel as an Executive Housekeeper
Opera PMS essential
Good planning, organizational and time management skills
Ability to work shifts.
