About the Role: We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Export Controller to join our logistics team. The Export Controller will be responsible for coordinating and managing the exportation process, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of export procedures, excellent organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and monitor all export activities to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
• Prepare and process export documentation and ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
• Communicate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs agents to track shipments and resolve any issues.
• Manage and maintain accurate records of all export transactions, including invoices, bills of lading, and customs declarations.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures for export operations.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate potential export risks.
• Monitor and analyze export data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost savings.
• Collaborate with internal departments such as procurement, finance, and warehousing to streamline the export process.
• Provide guidance and support to junior staff members involved in export activities.
• Stay updated on changes in export regulations and industry best practices.
• Manage both air and sea freight forwarding processes for export.
• Ensure cargo is handled according to company and regulatory standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in export control or a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and export documentation requirements.
• Proficiency in relevant software and systems (e.g., ERP, MS Office, CargoWise, etc.).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Professional certification in international trade or logistics (e.g., CILT, APICS, etc.).
• Experience in export control within the logistics sector.
