Key Responsibilities:
Website and Digital Platform Management:
- Assist in managing the website and digital platforms.
- Develop and implement digital communication strategies.
- Communicate, inform, and advise stakeholders on media policies and procedures.
- Manage social media platforms, ensuring regular updates and timely responses.
- Monitor media coverage, mentions, and clips across platforms.
- Analyse and compile reports on digital communication activities as required.
- Support external communication objectives related to branding and corporate social investment strategies.
- Utilise best practices and emerging digital communication tools.
Implementation of Communication Strategies:
- Support the execution of external communication strategies.
- Contribute to branding and corporate social investment initiatives.
Internal Communications
- Assist in developing new intranet content and strategies.
Content Development for Various Communication Channels
- Research, develop, and write content for multiple platforms, including:
- Social media
- Website and intranet
- Presentations
- Magazines, booklets, brochures, and leaflets
- Editorials and advertorials
- Promotional materials and company documentation
POSITION INFO:
Requirements:
Education:
- Minimum: National Diploma in Communications, Public Relations, Media, Journalism, or a related field (NQF Level 6).
- Preferred: Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Media, Journalism, or a related field (NQF Level 7).
- Additional qualifications in digital marketing will be advantageous.
Experience:
- 5–7 years of experience in Corporate Communications or Public Relations.
