External Sale Rep - Power Tools Cape Town

SUMMARY:
Junior Entry level position. External Sales Rep.

Our client is seeking a passionate and self-motivated power tool “sales guru” to join their awesome team to help them drive their business success by increasing the power tool sales in the Cape Town area. This position will service the Western Cape Region. Your main goal will be to turn leads and prospects into paid users by selling the products that the clients (and their customers) have grown to rely on.

If you understand the sales process, have good power tool knowledge, have a passion for selling & chasing targets, have the ability to convert leads into sales, build relationships, close deals, have strong negotiating skills and the ability to showcase the products compellingly, then this role is made for you!

POSITION INFO:
- Identify prospects and leads. 
- Make sales. 
- Make appointments to meet clients and ensure customer satisfaction. 
- Understand the clients’ needs, and wants and resolve queries to promote customer experience. 
- Advise customers on specials, new products, and price changes. 
- Learn technical details about our products to explain alternative uses and applications. 
- Process orders and credits and follow through. 
- Keep merchandising material up to date. 
- Prepare and present weekly reports. 
- Attend sales educational training, events and expos. 
- Arrange in-store demonstrations. 
- Stay up to date with the latest sales trends and best practices.

Skills and Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working as a Sales Rep. 
- Power tool & accessories knowledge is an advantage. 
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills. 
- Great interpersonal and excellent communication skills. 
- Self-motivated and disciplined. 
- Ability to affectively plan your day and prioritize your 
duties.  

Qualifications
- Grade 12. 
- A tertiary qualification in Sales and/or Marketing or 
studying towards one will be an advantage. 
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office & Kerridge (K8) 
- Valid driver’s license. 
- Must live in Cape Town.
