Are you a born hunter with a solid track record in business development and a deep, existing network in the mining industry?

My client is a no-nonsense chemical manufacturing company seeking a sharp, street-smart External Sales Rep who thrives on chasing and closing new deals.

What is your mission?

To open doors, close deals, and grow my clients' footprint in the mining industry : From DAY ONE 

How will you do it?

• Identify, approach, and close new business opportunities in the mining and other sectors
• Leverage your existing network to generate immediate traction
• Present and promote my clients range of industrial-strength cleaning products
• Negotiate pricing and service agreements with key decision-makers
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key clients
• Work closely with the production and logistics team to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction
• Track sales activities and provide regular reporting on pipeline, leads, and conversion rates
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and competitors

Who do you have?

• Proven experience in sales to the mining industry (5+ years preferred)
• An existing network of decision-makers in mining and related sectors — this is non-negotiable
• Hunter mentality – aggressive, persistent, and always closing deals
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Own vehicle and valid driver’s license
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and under pressure
• Strong admin and reporting discipline
• Comfortable travelling nationally - you should not be in the office
