External Sales Representative – Pinetown Durban

Salary: Basic; Commission, Cell Phone

Complement Recruitment are recruiting for an External Sales Representative from the manufacturing sector, ideally ceramic, brick, cement, refractory, petrochemical, gas or similar. This is a permanent position to nurture existing relationship and grow new business accounts. Basic Salary, plus commission, cell phone, fuel and company car.

Minimum Requirements Qualifications And Skills

Grade 12; Tertiary: Sales & Marketing Qualification (advantageous)
Driver’s License: Valid Code EB or higher company car & fuel card
2 Years’ experience in external sales from a technical manufacturing industry
Travel mostly in KZN but not limited. Maybe required to travel within Africa.
Well presented, excellent telephonic and communication skills.
Must be able to work independently.
Must be computer literate.
Excellent time-management and self-management skills.

ü Pulp and Paper

ü Sugar

ü Glass

ü Brick; Cement and Ceramic

ü Aluminium

ü Refractory Industry

KPI’s

• To grow new and / or additional business.

• Achieve monthly targets.

• Building relationships with existing clients in their specific areas.

• Planning of monthly & daily activities and organising a daily diary.

• Achieving monthly sales targets.

• Focus on specific market areas.

• Re-signing and upgrading of customers.

• Prospecting and conducting of needs analyses and surveys.

• Follow-up on customer queries, installations and ensure after-sales service.

• Ensure customer satisfaction & smooth running of the business.

• Prepare and submit commission sheets.

• Promote the image of the company.
