External Technical Sales Rep

SUMMARY:
Our client seeks an experienced (External sales) technical external sales rep.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Grade 12 (not negotiable)
• Tertiary qualification, ideally technical
• Driver's licence and own car
• Computer Literate
• Relevant industry experience

• Maintaining sales and support to existing clients.
• Compile an accurate and comprehensive database of customers and their relationships/influences.
• Follow up on clients and any re-sellers.
• Generating growth of allocated and new customer base on products and solutions
• Prepare customer proposals, reports and quotations.
• Prepare and conduct training/presentations to customers.
• Conducting exhibitions and customer-specific training if required.
• Update customer base on product updates and new products.
• Prepare and report on sales for your area.
• Attend critical project or customer meetings.
• Report on competitor activities in the area.
• Compile monthly sales reviews and forecasts.
• Assist with projects and studies.
• Perform other duties as directed by Sales. Manager/Management.
• Business review – implement promotions.

• Salary is negotiable within the company's parameters.
