SUMMARY:
A leading global law firm is seeking an eBilling Administrator whom will work on the technical side of eBilling. The overall purpose of the role is to assist with the daily functional requirements within the E-Billing department in relation to uploading of invoice on eBilling platforms, update and maintenance of logs, chasing and general administrative eBilling duties.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Upload e-Bills to various eBilling solutions once invoice is generated.
  • Process e-bills with various e-billing vendors.
  • Update and maintain the eBilling log.
  • Setup of timekeepers and rates with firm and client.
  • Manage law firms billing and timekeeper data using various portals and matter management system
  • Prepare documentation of all processes of billing between the firm and client(s).
  • Check daily alert report which highlights matters or time recordings that are missing data required to successfully upload the eBills and update Elite to store the information.
  • Communicate with finance staff, fee earners, Partners and Senior Management globally in order to determine causes for invoice rejection and to ascertain the correct resolution of these items.
  • Reconciling bills issued in elite against various eBilling solutions
  • Continually monitor WIP, aged A/R, and misapplied or on-account billings/cash to assist Billing
  • Manage past due client accounts and perform necessary follow up action. Generation of reports and preparation of complex excel spreadsheets. Revision and application of unallocated funds. Provide estimates for various clients.
  • Preparing of SOPs
  • Task code set up.
Qualifications, Experience & other Attributes
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • BCom / National Diploma or other relevant qualification in a financial discipline (advantageous)
  • Proficiency in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Legal Electronic Data Exchange Standard (LEDES), Extensible Markup Language (XML) and File Transfer Protocol (FTP).
  • Knowledge of a centralised/ shared services environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organisational, administrative and time management skills
  • Commercial awareness
  • Intermediate – Advanced knowledge of Excel including
  • VLookUps and Pivot Tables
  • Attention to detail
