SUMMARY:
Bapsfontein Area – Gauteng Area: Our client is looking for a Farm Manager to join the team.

Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.

POSITION INFO:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

NQF 3 will serve as recommendation
Previous crop farming experience with maize & soya
Experience operating, maintenance and calibration of pesticide and herbicide sprayers, tractors planters and other farm equipment
Experience with managing a team of more than 10 staff members
Computer literate
Good interpersonal skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work independently
Ability to function under pressure
Good health – physical stamina
Mechanical experience and ability will be an advantage
Valid code 8 drivers license or higher

FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED:

Planning and organizing
Ensuring compliance with daily production schedules
Identifying and solving of work-related problems
Planting and harvesting of cash crops
Implementation of crop spraying program
Stock Control and house keeping
Leadership, guidance and communication with workers
Constantly adding value
