FINANCIAL CONTROLLER - 20k - Pinetown

POSITION INFO:

RS Recruitment is assisting a well-established organisation in the STEEL MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY to recruit a FINANCIAL CONTROLLER to be based at their offices in PINETOWN. Approximately R20 000ctc including benefits.

OUR CLIENT, PART OF A JSE LISTED GROUP AND IS A WELL ESTABLISHED SUPPLIER OF INDUSTRIAL STEEL AND ALUMINIUM PRODUCTS.

The ideal candidate should have/be the following:

A minimum of 2 to 3 years working experience in a similar role.

A financial qualification/certification an advantage.

Experience working with SYSPRO or similar.

Key responsibilities, but not limited to:

Debtors & creditors

Invoicing

Cashbook

Petty cash

Monthly journals

Preparing VAT payments

Salary and wage reconciliation for management accounts

Update daily cashflow and prepare monthly cashflow

Dealing with queries from auditors

Cost implosion (1 – 2 hours after working hours)

Running weekly balance functions (1 – 2 hours after working hours)

Assist with leave schedules and absentee reports

Supervise tea lady and internal delivery person

Remuneration:

Approximately R20 000 ctc including benefits, no overtime
