POSITION INFO:

RS Recruitment is assisting a STEEL TRADING COMPANY based in WESTMEAD DURBAN to recruit a FINANCIAL MANAGER, approximately R40 000, including benefits (medical aid and provident fund).

OUR CLIENT, A SUBSIDIARY OF A JSE-LISTED GROUP, IS ONE OF THE LARGEST STEEL TRADERS IN SOUTH AFRICA, WITH BRANCHES IN MOST MAJOR CENTRES.

Applicants should have/be the following:

A minimum of about 5 years working experience in a similar role.

A relevant qualification.

Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Experience leading a finance team.

Experience with ACCPAC or similar.

Key performance areas:

Budget preparation.

Provide and interpret financial reports and make business recommendations.

Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts.

Reconciling all balance sheet and income statement accounts.

Preparing year-end books for audit.

Management of cash, receivables and inventory.

Remuneration:  

Approximately R40 000, including benefits.
