SUMMARY:
The Fitter's primary responsibility is to fabricate, fit, and assemble structural components for mechanical systems. This includes analyzing blueprints, constructing and welding components, conducting maintenance, and ensuring the quality of fabricated parts. The role requires collaboration with other team members on large projects, maintaining accurate work records, and adhering to safety standards.

POSITION INFO:
Qualifications:

Appropriate state certification for fitting.
Proven experience as a fitter with strong knowledge of mechanical systems.
Solid understanding of local and state building codes.

Skills:

Ability to interpret blueprints and mechanical system designs.
Skilled in welding and mechanical fabrication.
Proficient in using hand and power tools.
